| Dr.
Blanco
is a well known Angiologist and Vascular Surgeon, with an extended
practice, first in La Habana, Cuba, his country of origin; later in
Puerto Plata, D.R, and recently in our hospital. His training includes a M.D. degree at Universidad de la Habana (1969), and Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo (1995). He has a 2nd grade (teaching level) specialization in Angiology and Vascular Surgery, at Santa Clara Teaching Hospital, Cuba. He also has a formal training in Microvascular Surgery (hand) in TESCO, Hungary, on 1982, as well as a training on Cardiac and Vascular Echography, on Miami FLA (1998). He was a professor at Medicine Faculty in University of La Habana, and invited professor of Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo. Our colleage is married with Elena Rojas Blanco, with 2 children He loves sea sports. Hobby: Playing Guitar and contemporary music. |
