Dr. Castro is an orthopedic and Trauma surgeon, with 5 year of experience with the Grupo Rescue hospitals network.

His training includes a M.D. degree at Universidad Central de Este, D.R. (1997). His specialization training is first as a General Surgeon, and later as Ortopaedic/Trauma Surgeon, and was done at the "Hospital Central de las Fuerzas Armadas" in Santo Domingo, D.R. He achieved a felowship in Pediatric orthopedia at Puerto Rico, USA.
He is an active Basketball player.
