Physiatrist Claudia Melo has a long lasting experience in Rehabilitation Medicine, since 1985, when she graduated from Instituto Tecnologico de Santo Domingo.

Before moving to Grupo Rescue hospital, in Bavaro, she delivered a full practice at Instituto Nacional de Rehabilitacion, in Puerto Plata, D.R. She also had a formal training at Registered Nurse school.
Claudia has been professor on a training program for rehab technicians, at Infotep, Puerto Plata.
She is married with Eduardo Maltes m.d., head of CMPC Emergency Room , and has 3 children.
Her main hobby is reading.
