Our facility (CMPC)
is a general hospital with accommodation for: Medical Emergency
wards (3), Urgent Care and Observation ward (3) hospitalization
private rooms (14), Suites (2), Semi-private rooms (6), and ICU
wards (2).
Medical department includes ER physicians, supported by a specialized
“in-house” staff of Internal Medicine & Cardiology
(3), Ob&Gyn (3), Pediatricians (2), Gastroenterologist (1);
also, General Surgeon (2), Orthopedia and Trauma Surgeon (2), Neurotrauma
Surgeon (1), Vascular Surgeon and Angiologist (1), Urologist (1),
Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (1), and Anesthesiology and Critical
Care (3). There is also a service of Dermatology and Cosmiatry (1),
and Family Physicians (2). This 24/7 staff practice is supported
by a 24/7 Image Diagnostic and Clinical Laboratory service.
The
Medical Department is coordinated by the Hospital Medical Director,
together with a Chief Nurse Service.
Right
next to the hospital main building, we have a 2 floor facility with
Outpatient consultation offices, Central Pharmacy, Optics, and Cafeteria.
On this first phase CMPC can support any and all
emergency medical clinic needs, surgical and trauma up to Level
II of hospital Accrediting (SESPAS). When required, services exceeding
this category would be referred to our Level III associates: Centro
Medico Bournigal in Puerto Plata, Centro Medico Canela in La Romana,
and/or Clinica Corazones Unidos in Santo Domingo City. CMPC also
have a 24/7 superior ground ambulance transportation (Life Care)
for medical evacuation or transfer, supported by PROMED DOMINICANA,
when needed. |
